ADM Volleyball General

It was a quick night of volleyball action Tuesday as the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers (9-3 overall; 2-0 RRC) welcomed Raccoon River Conference member Carroll to town for a league match. ADM dropped Carroll in straight sets (25-9, 25-15, 25-19) to win their ninth contest of the season, and the second consecutive inside league competition. Seniors played a pivotal role in last night’s victory. Outside hitter Sami Schepers had a team-best 12 kills and five blocks, while libero Jordan Hook topped the squad with 18 digs. Last night was the first of two home athletic events at ADM high school during homecoming week. Tiger head volleyball coach Mary Beth Scott says homecoming week has been positive for the team.

“The girls get fired up. We had a good showing from our crowd.” Scott said, “The girls are excited to play at home and during homecoming.”

The ADM volleyball team is off the rest of this week. The Tigers return to the court Tuesday hosting a Raccoon River Conference match against the Ballard Bombers (3-3 overall).
