Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says just after 5am Thursday, a deputy arrested 34-year-old Jeremy Antone, while he was allegedly committing a crime.

Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio that a deputy was already in Grand Junction looking for Antone on a warrant for an unrelated case when dispatch notified him of an incident taking place in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street. The caller told dispatch about suspicious activity taking place inside the victim’s garage. When the deputy arrived, he saw Antone and arrested him on site.

Antone was charged with a Class B Felony for second degree burglary and a misdemeanor for fifth degree criminal mischief. He was booked into the Greene County jail.
