At long last the ADM cross country teams will start their seasons today in Urbandale.

For the Tigers boys, they enter with a roster of 30 plus runners led by West Central Valley transfer and returning state meet runner Rylan Heffernan. Heffernan placed 20th at the state meet last year and will lead his team today against a four team field including Des Moines Hoover, Dowling Catholic, Indianola, and host Urbandale.

For the Lady Tigers, they will take on a 5 team field including Des Moines Hoover, Des Moines Roosevelt, Indianola, Dowling-Catholic, and host Urbandale. The ADM girls bring a roster of 20 runners led by returning state meet runner Sadie Juergens.

Head coach David Zwank returns for his 15th season at the head coaching helm and he is assisted by Scott Schroeder.

Both Tiger teams will begin their respective 2017 campaigns this morning at 9:30 am at the Urbandale middle school.
