Jesse CrawfordTwo individuals face several felony charges following an alleged assault incident in Jefferson.

Jefferson Police Captain Heath Enns says 31-year-old Jesse Lynn Crawford of Jamaica and 32-year-old Amanda Fay Petrzilka (Lawrence) of Scranton were each charged with Class B Felonies for first degree burglary, Class D Felonies for willful injury, two Class D Felonies for assault while participating in a felony and Crawford is additionally charged with an aggravated misdemeanor for first degree harassment.Amanda Petrazilka

Enns says the charges stem from a report of an assault in the 200 block of East Perry Street around 5:45pm on August 4th. The two suspects were seen breaking into the rental residence and assaulting Crawford’s ex-girlfriend, who is the renter and her boyfriend, who is living at the residence. The male victim ended up with a laceration on the head. The suspects then left the residence. Authorities went to Petrzilka’s home in the 700 block of Main Street in Scranton on Tuesday, where Petrzilka and Crawford were arrested.

They were both booked into the Greene County Jail, where they each remain held on $25,000 cash-only bond.
