The Stuart City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.

One of the first items on the agenda is a presentation by Greg Roth from Veenstra and Kimm regarding the traffic study for Division Street. He will also go over engineering fees. The Council will then discuss the retirement of the Utility Billing Clerk and filling that position. Additionally, they will continue their discussion on the signage and intersection plans for the City. The Stuart Public Works Director will attend the meeting to present the department’s findings.

Other topics on the agenda include: code enforcement and a request for a hearing; seed updates and REAP grant support; a rescue unit update; a building material ordinance; fire department recommendations for the storm siren; a road use report; and two requests to block off streets for events. The Council will also set a date for a public hearing on an urban renewal plan amendment.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Stuart Council chambers.
