The third and final leg of the Greene County football team road trip for practices is today in Scranton. Head Coach Mitch Moore and his coaching staff will have the players on hand for the public to watch in Scranton at the old football field from 5-6:15 p.m. Last Friday the team practiced in Grand Junction and the Rams held practice on Tuesday of this week in Churdan.

Coach Moore told Raccoon Valley Radio that it’s one team, one county, one vision, and traveling to these towns is a way the public can feel connected to the team, and likewise, the players get some extra excitement by practicing in front of the public and in some of the other communities in the county.

Tomorrow night will be Greene County Football Family Night in Jefferson at Linduska Field from 6-9 p.m. Food, games, activities, Battle Ball, and more will take place prior to the high school football team scrimmage, which kicks off at 7 p.m.

Greene County opens the regular season in Jefferson on Aug. 25 at Linduska Field vs. the Kuemper Catholic Knights. All varsity Ram football games will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
