Perry School Board 8-14

One of the many tasks the Perry School Board had in front of them at their August meeting was to make sure there was food on the table at the preschools.

The District has agreements with Head Start and the Perry Child Development Center to provide meals during the school year, though the contracts for this year needed to be approved. Director of Nutrition Gail McFarlin drafted the contracts, and the Board unanimously voted to approve them. A clarification was made that the two preschools have different criteria required for their contracts, and due to that variation they couldn’t be combined into one.
