Town Craft Building

Before long, the Perry Chamber of Commerce will be calling a new building home.

The Chamber office has been located on the first floor of City Hall. However, with the City shifting the Town Craft Building to a new coworking space, they thought it would be best to move the Chamber there as a way to oversee operations. Chamber Director Bob Wilson says they should be fully moved in as early as the end of this week. He feels the facility is well-suited to house the Chamber and any potential tenants of the community offices.

“It is a beautiful facility that’s way under-utilized. So as far as Chamber members, we’re going to make them more aware of the amenities that are available in that space. Meeting spaces and workshop spaces, lunch and learn space, stuff like that. Where I think we’ll take the opportunity to showcase the building a little more than it has been in the past.”

There is already one local business owner making use of the coworking space, and Wilson is hoping before long every office will be filled. To hear more about the Perry Chamber, listen to last Friday’s Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
