The Jefferson Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is believed to have stolen several items.

On Monday, July 31st around 7:45pm, a male reportedly removed several tools from a Durlam Electric vehicle when it was parked in the Jefferson Fareway parking lot. An image from Fareway’s video surveillance shows the suspect’s vehicle has damage to the right front corner of the vehicle and there is a handicap placard hanging from the rear-view mirror.

Anyone with information of the whereabouts of the suspect or vehicle is asked to call the Jefferson Police Department at 386-2136 or private message them on their Facebook page.
