The 2017-18 school year starts in a little more than a week and there are some dates to keep in mind for Greene County and Paton-Churdan students and parents.
The school year starts on Wednesday, August 23rd for both districts. Both districts share the same Thanksgiving and winter breaks from November 22-24 and December 25-January 2 respectively. Spring break is the same for both districts from March 12-16, 2018.
Spring commencement for Paton-Churdan will take place on May 19th, while Greene County’s is scheduled for May 20th. The last day of school for both districts is May 23rd. Both districts will also keep their respective Wednesday early dismissals throughout the school year.
