Every new fall sports season brings a whole new load of excitement which is exactly the case for the ACGC volleyball program now in 2017.

The Lady Chargers are coming fresh off of 4 winning seasons and one state tournament birth in the past five years. Another level of excitement comes in the form of returning players as ACGC returns their digs, kills, and aces leader MaKayla Hoing, assists leader Madylin Smith, and even blocks leader Savana Fuller. The  Lady Chargers loose just four seniors from last year’s roster and return all three players who earned all  conference honors (MaKayla Hoing-1st Team, Savana Fuller + Madylin Smith- honorable mention).

All of that certainly brings excitement in itself but for first year head coach Lyndsey Noe, she has something else that is exciting her for the new season.

“I’m just excited to take over a program as a head coach. I’m coming in fresh faced so (we) start my square one and build the program from there,” stated coach Noe.

While this may be coach Noe’s first adventure as a head coach, she will be entering into her sixth year total of coaching volleyball in some fashion overall.

Coach Noe and the Lady Chargers are also excited for their upcoming competition as they take on a conference scrimmage this week. The scrimmage will include all West Central Activities Conference teams and will take place on Thursday in Woodard with first serve set to take place at 3:00 pm.
