The beginning of the competitive football season draws closer and closer with each passing day, and for the ADM Tigers the beginning of a very competitive football schedule.

As it was last year, the Tigers reside in a tough district 7 which put forth three teams in the class 3A playoffs and one state tournament team. This year will be just as tough for the Tigers who went 3-6 last year and their 2017 schedule includes 5 home games and 4 road trips.

The season opener will also be the home opener for the Tigers against non district foe Dallas Center-Grimes on senior night. ADM will look to break the four year loosing skid against the Mustangs.

Weeks two and three will be road trips for the Tigers with September first taking place in Huxley against Ballard. ADM will seek to follow suit from last year and start off district play with a win heading to Winterset on September 8th. ADM returns home the following week as homecoming week will be capped off with a Friday night showdown against Carroll.

The Tigers take a lengthy road trip to Harlan on September 22nd looking to avenge the 58-34 shootout loss from last year. ADM returns home for week six on September 29th as they celebrate youth night taking on the Monarchs of Denison-Schleswig. From there the Tigers will flip flop the next two games looking to keep the four year winning streak going against the Trojans in Atlantic on October 6th. ADM will then cap off the regular season with a home match up against Creston on October 13th.
