Today is the day that ACGC volleyball will unofficially kick off the 2017 competitive season as they take on the West Central Activities Conference scrimmage.

The Lady Chargers are under the direction of first year head coach Lyndsey Noe who will be taking on her first competitive action of the season with her team today. With today’s scrimmage coach Noe will have a lot of aspects she will be looking for out of her team, but as she told Raccoon Valley Radio, her biggest focus lies with simple improvement.

“I don’t want them to focus on wins, losses, and errors. Just as a team what is success, building from day to day, are we better today than we were yesterday. I definitely think that me as a new coach and new to the program, we need to find our rhythm and get into that so we can go to the middle and the end of the season and we’re strong and have that momentum,” explained coach Noe.

The conference scrimmage for the Lady Chargers will be in Woodward and will begin at 3:00 pm.
