The Raccoon River Conference will be well represented in the 2017 state tournament with three teams taking flight in Fort Dodge.

Unfortunately for the ADM Tigers, they are not one of those teams but instead it will be Winterset as the top seed, Ballard who earned the third seed, and Carlisle who grabbed the tournament’s sixth seed.

Quite the high level of competition and the Lady Tigers faced off against that competition twice per school. It was some tough sledding for the Lady Tigers who were swept in all three of those conference series. ADM lost by no more than 4 runs in any of the match ups between those three schools. ADM was one of only 7 teams this season to hold Winterset to 2 runs or less in a game. The Lady Tigers were one of just two conference teams to limit Carlisle to 2 runs in a game with the other being Winterset.

ADM has played tough but outscored 8-14 against the three state bound teams. State tournament action will begin July 18th with Winterset taking on 8th seeded Sargent Bluff-Luton while third seeded Ballard and sixth seeded Carlisle will have one more shot at each other in round one.
