Severe thunderstorms crossed northern Dallas and Guthrie counties Wednesday afternoon, activating the Raccoon Valley Radio Severe Weather Action Team.

At around 3:40 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located around Panora travelling east towards Perry at 10 miles per hour. Guthrie and Adair County Emergency Management Coordinator Bob Kempf reported .9 inch hail around Yale, and there were reports of 60 mile per hour straight line winds. There were also reports of heavy rain throughout the affected area. There hasn’t yet been any reports of damage, though flooding continues to be a concern. The warning ended at 4:25 p.m.
