Grand JunctionPower has been restored to a portion of Grand Junction.

Light Plant Manager Dean Lyons tells Raccoon Valley Radio that power was restored to all residents just after 6:30 this morning. An outage was first reported before 11am Tuesday. Mayor Teresa Lansman previously told Raccoon Valley Radio that the cause was a broken underground wire. The outage mainly affected the City’s northeast side. Residents were able to use the community center as a cooling station.
