A Perry man was arrested Saturday on several counts including second degree sexual abuse, a class B felony.

At around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, 22-year-old Jesse Donavon Taggart came into the Perry Police Department and was placed under arrest. In addition to the sexual abuse charge, he was also arrested for indecent exposure, and dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors, both serious misdemeanors. He was transported to the Dallas County Jail, where he is currently being held on $25,000 bond. He will have his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, July 19th at 11 a.m.
