It’s a rare 5 p.m. start for Greene County and ADM as the two non-conference rivals square off in Harlan to begin Class 3A District 15 baseball. The winner faces either top ranked Harlan or Carroll on Monday at 7 p.m. in Carroll while the losing team will have its season come to an end. Carroll and Harlan play tonight after the Rams and Tigers are finished.

ADM is 18-13 and already has clinched a wining season under head coach Jason Book. The Rams are 13-12 and can’t have a losing season, but need a win tonight to clinch their second winning season in the last three years under head coach Mark Sawhill.

Coach Sawhill saw his team commit six errors in the regular season finale on Tuesday in Alleman and the result was a 6-2 loss to a very good North Polk team. The coach thinks his team will be ready to play well tonight.

Coverage on KG98 starts around 4:30 p.m. with first pitch at 5 p.m. The game will also be streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
