Today is day four at the Dallas County Fair, and fair-goers can expect a very busy Saturday.

At 8 a.m., the 4-H and FFA junior feeder show is the first of several animal shows throughout the day. The beef show is at 8:30, the pet show is at 9, the cat show is at 11:30, and the poultry show is at 3:30. Other 4-H events include the static exhibits available for viewing from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., the Clover Kids pet show at 10:30, shooting demonstrations by the Sharp Shooters 4-H Club from noon – 4 p.m., and the 4-H Foundation silent auction, which closes bidding at 3 p.m.

Other activities include: the baby contest; the Farm Bureau watermelon feed; the Antique Power Club display and demonstrations; the kids pedal tractor pull; minute-to-win-it ag edition games; and bingo. The main event is the figure 8 and circle track racing at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for kids age 6-12. After the main event will be a fireworks display and a free concert by Cold Filtered.
