Josie Bousman

Twenty-year-old Josie Bousman of Perry, the adopted cousin of Sabrina Ray and one of the suspects in the 16-year-old’s death, has entered a plea of not-guilty according to sources.

Josie, along with her grandmother Carla Bousman and cousin Justin Ray, was arrested on May 31st on four charges related to the May 12th death of Sabrina. Court documents at the time of the arrest indicated Josie admitted to her involvement in the treatment that led to the teen’s death, though she entered a not-guilty plea in a written arraignment on Monday. The Dallas County Attorney’s Office said her arraignment is scheduled for Friday morning. Her aunt, uncle, and cousin, Misty, Marc, and Justin Ray, have also pleaded not-guilty to all charges. Carla has not yet entered a plea.
