Dallas County Hospital recently earned accreditation for their sleep study program.

The program has been accredited for three years by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). The ACHC’s sleep specialists conducted surveys of the program and its practices, and the sleep study met or exceeded all required standards.

The DCH sleep study program is designed to help people with sleep apnea and other sleeping disorders. Sleep apnea is very common, affecting over 18 million people in the United States. If left untreated it can have serious complications. Anyone interested in participating in the sleep study program is advised to talk to their physician or medical provider for a referral.
