In one of their most complete games of the season, the ADM baseball team avenged their early season loss to Bondurant-Farrar, beating the Blue Jays in Bondurant Friday night with a 7-2 win.

All three phases for the Tigers were on point allowing just one error defensively, while striking for 8 hits and seven runs, although the biggest highlight on the night came on the mound in the form of Kade Overton. The senior hurler reached a season high in strikeouts fanning 12 batters while suffering just 4 walks and two earned runs en rout to earning his third win on the season. After erupting for twelve runs against ADM in game one, the Blue Jays suffered just two earned runs off 5 hits and 12 strikeouts.

ADM started off the night with a two run lead after one inning of play which rose up to a 5-0 advantage after the top of the third inning. Meanwhile Bondurant-Farrar’s line up was dazzled by Overton’s work on the mound with the first four Blue Jay batters set down on strikes. The only two runs the Blue Jays could muster came in the 3rd and 4th innings meanwhile the Tigers would answer that thanks to Jack OBrien connecting on his team leading 19th RBI in the 4th inning. The night’s scoring festivities would conclude in the top of the 6th as ADM would bring the score to a 7-2 margin and thanks to Logan Crannell shutting the door in the bottom of the seventh that is the way the game would end.
