Emergency crews responded to a three vehicle wreck in Perry on Highway 141 next to Shopko Friday night, which sent at least one person to the hospital.

The three vehicles involved were a car, SUV, and pickup truck. According to witnesses, the car was travelling westbound on Highway 141. The SUV was attempting to turn into the Shopko parking lot, when it was hit on the passenger side by the car. The momentum took both vehicles into the pickup. At least one person involved in the accident was taken by ambulance to Dallas County Hospital. Further details are not available at this time.

The Perry Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff, Perry Fire Department, Perry First Responders, and Dallas County Emergency Medical Services were all assisting at the scene. Raccoon Valley Radio will have more information as it becomes official.
