Greene County ExtensionThe deadline to sign up for this year’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics camps with Greene County Extension is fast approaching.

Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Hyett says there are four camps for those going into fifth through eighth grades.  The camps include Kids in the Kitchen, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Photography and Robotics. Hyett explains some of the changes to the camps.

“We have new instructors for each of our classes this year and photography is brand new, so we’re excited to see that program throughout the summer. This is a free program for our youth here in Greene County.”

The instructors include Brandon Gustoff for Kids in the Kitchen, Jefferson Police Officer Kyle DeMoss for CSI, Sarah Stott for photography and Bob and Jason Smith for robotics. All classes will take place next month at Greene County High School in Jefferson. Deadline to register is June 1st and space is limited.
