Three elected officials for the City of Minburn, including Mayor Jordan Lint, announced their resignations recently, sending the City into a search for new leadership.

Lint and City Council Member Daryl Finestead submitted their resignations effective May 9th, while Council Member GayLynn Stajcar (Stites-er) will resign effective June 13th, or the appointment of a replacement for Finestead. According to City Clerk Kris Fitch, the City will be appointing replacements on June 12th, provided they have people interested in filling the positions. Otherwise, there could be a special election, which Fitch says will be expensive for the City.

Provided the City has a mayor and council members to provide the requisite quorum for meetings, it will continue with business as usual.
