Bryan SnellA Coon Rapids man recently pled guilty and will be sentenced in July in Greene County District Court.

According to court documents, 32-year-old Bryan Snell pled guilty to a Class D Felony for his third operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated charge.

The charge stems from a March 3rd incident where a Greene County Deputy stopped Snell’s vehicle for not properly displaying license plates at 335th Street and Apple Avenue. Snell gave the deputy a false name and when the deputy ran his information, Snell got out of his vehicle and fled on foot. The deputy caught and arrested him.

Snell was additionally charged with misdemeanors for driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of interference with official acts. Part of the preliminary plea agreement is that the county attorney drops the misdemeanor charges.

Snell’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 14th.
