It was senior night last night for the 11th ranked ADM boys soccer team as they laid host to the Ballard Bombers at home. Seven seniors played a huge part in securing a 4-1 win over the Bombers and increasing their record to 5-2 on the season.

Davis Barton put on a great performance punching in two goals and providing one assist. The first goal for Barton came just four minutes into the contest thanks to an assist by Eli Schwarzkopf. The assist for Barton came 15 minutes after the teams first goal when he continued the work of Gage Fuller and Eli Schwarzkopf to find Dakota Kahler for ADM’s second goal of the night.

Barton thundred home his second goal on the night thanks to a beautiful cross from Eli Schwarzkopf as he had the goalkeeper temporarily leave his post for Barton’s goal. After a two assist night, Schwarzkopf joined the scoring parade set up nicely after Lucas O’Connor stripped the ball from a defender to find Eli for the goal.

Drew Gordon picked up his 25th save on the year after going 9-1 in goal saving opportunities last night.

The Tigers have now rattled off 4 straight wins and remain unbeaten in RRC at 2-0. They remain as one of only two teams unbeaten in Raccoon River Conference play. The next game on the docket for head coach Bill Shields and the Tigers come next Monday on the road at Dallas Center-Grimes.
