The deadline to register to vote for the May 2nd Dallas County special election is today at 5 p.m.

After today, people can still register to vote at the Auditor’s office in Adel or at their polling place on election day, but they will have to show proof of residence and identity. People who are registered by today can also vote early from now until May 1st. The special election is for a $22.9 million bond referendum for a proposed law enforcement center.
