Jesus Rodriguez scored a pair of goals and added 2 assists as Perry overpowered Boone 6-0 Thursday night in Raccoon River Conference boys soccer.  Rodriguez set the tone scoring just 38 seconds into the match.  Perry led 3-0 at halftime and cruised in the second half to the 6 goal road win.

“This was a real good road win,” added Head Coach Gary Overla.  It was one of those nights where everybody was able to get in the game and the kids played really well.”

The win keeps Perry in first place in the conference with a 4-0 mark and 7-3 overall.  German Alvarenga, Brandon Juarez, Mikey Velasco and Moses Tellez added goals in the blowout win.  Perry will have a week off before they travel to Indianola next Thursday night.
