Guthrie County Arts Council Secretary Pat Sleister tells Raccoon Valley Radio art classes held at Art on State in Guthrie Center serve a dual purpose. The class fees provided needed funding for the volunteer-led non-profit to continue its work and allow those interested in art to get first hand experience with new projects and mediums.

“ We are able to get artists who are familiar with each project to teach it to the people who intend the courses in a way that is interesting and informative.”
