isu extensionThe first annual Guthrie County STEM Fest will be held at ACGC High School today.The free, fast-paced, educational afternoon program is filled with family fun learning with  science, technology, engineering and math. Extension Office Coordinator Janae Eisentrager says a variety activities will presented.

“Students will be able to explore with microscopes, learn more about ethanol production, discover pollinators, dive into a real medical lab,  and have fun with chemistry. They can experience animal science with Blank Park Zoo and cover hands-on technology with Science Center of Iowa.”

Door prizes and giveaways will be featured. STEM Fest will be begins at 2pm in the gymnasium.
