Heads up for motorists that use the Little Beaver Creek bridge in Dallas County, that structure is scheduled to be replaced starting next week.

The Dallas County Secondary Roads Department will be closing 130th Street from the City of Bouton to Quinlin Avenue starting Tuesday, March 21st at 7am for the duration of the project. Work is being done on the Little Beaver Creek bridge to replace it. With the bridge out, local traffic may be permitted, but no one will be able to cross the bridge while the project is going on.

The marked detour route includes County Road R-30 south to Bouton to highways 141 and 210.

The bridge will be closed until further notice.
