An Urbandale man accused of killing two metro police officers will have his trial moved out of Polk County.

According to court documents, the trial for Scott Michael Greene has been moved to Dubuque County from Polk County. Greene is charged with two counts of first degree murder. The alleged incident happened on Wednesday, November 2nd when Greene shot and killed Urbandale Police Officer Justin Martin and 20 minutes later shot and killed Des Moines Police Sergeant Anthony Beminio. Both officers were sitting in their patrol vehicles at the time of the alleged shootings.

Greene was found by authorities in rural Dallas County, south of Redfield, some eight hours after the murders.
