Greene County Sheriff’s Report March 17-19, 2017

Friday, March 17th

A deputy assisted Boone County with about an abandoned vehicle in their county.

Deputies investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street.

A deputy assisted Jefferson with a fire complaint in the 1700 block of R Avenue.

Kevin Dean Ashworth was booked into the jail to serve partial sentence.

Timothy Lee James was booked into the jail to serve sentence.

A deputy assisted with a 911 call that had come from the 2900 block 400th Street in Calhoun County. The was call was not an emergency and a deputy spoke with parties involved.

A deputy assisted with property exchange in Churdan.

A deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of F Avenue. The vehicle was later identified to a local farmer.

A deputy investigated a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Adaza.

A deputy investigated a fight in progress in in the 200 block of Grand Junction. The altercation was verbal only and both parties were separated.

Saturday, March 18th

Michael Eugene Hamilton was booked into the jail for Domestic Abuse Assault 3rd or Subsequent Offense.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 2000 block of 100th Street.

A deputy assisted a motorist 0n 220 th Street and Parkland Avenue.

A deputy investigated a driving complaint on J Avenue south 240th Street.

A deputy investigated driving complaint of ATV’s in Grand Junction.

Sunday, March 19th

A deputy investigated an open door of a trailer in Paton.

A deputy assisted with a civil issue in Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted with an injured deer in the 800 block of C Avenue.

A deputy responded to a security check in the 200 block of Main Street in Paton.

A deputy investigated an assault that occurred in the county.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
