fates and traitorsThe Greene County Library Association recently announced this year’s book for the annual Greene County Reads program.

Jefferson Library Director Jane Millard says Jennifer Chiaverini’s book Fates and Traitors is about John Wilkes Booth and four women who loved him and who he loved in return. Participants will then engage in a book discussion at three library locations on Thursday, April 20th. The discussions will be at the Churdan, Rippey and Scranton libraries. Plus, the author Chiaverini will be available through Skype for each of the book discussions.

Copies of the book are available from any of the libraries in the county.

The book discussions are free and open to the public.
