T-minus less than two weeks away before the ACGC Charger boys track & field team takes on their season opening meet in Audubon.

As ACGC continues to prep up for their first meet a lot of items will be looked upon to help the Chargers but of them all, experience may be the biggest benefit. Raccoon Valley Radio caught up with Charger head boys track coach Tyler Mosbach as he talked about the experienced personnel on his team and the type of experience they have to help Charger track be successful.

“There are a few guys on the team that have experience at state and have a lot of experience at scoring a lot of points for the team. I think that they’re going to do a really good job, you’ve got guys Logan and Cale, and Landon who did some great things last year for the team. I also think that the fact that they did so well at cross country is just going to transfer over into the track season,” explained coach Mosbach.

Coach Mosbach also went on to talk about the character of his team through the first few weeks of practice.

“So far what I’ve seen we have a great group of kids that are just really willing to work and I don’t think we’re going to have too many issues with anybody needing that leadership role as far as needing a push,” stated coach Mosbach.

The first meet of the season as notated on the calander for the Charger boys team won’t be until March 28th taking on a 14 team field in Audubon.
