Dallas County Supervisors 3_28The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday in regular session.

The Board approved payroll change notices for public health, emergency medical services, jail staff and community services as presented. Additionally, the Board approved a proclamation for April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, changes to the county’s depositories and an operating transfer of $52,000 from the Ortonville capital project fund to a maintenance fund.

The Board then held another informational county employee meeting on the proposed $22.9 million bond referendum for a new law enforcement center.

Following a public hearing, the Board approved the five-year road construction plan for the county secondary roads department for 18 projects totaling almost $14 million.

Following a discussion, the Board didn’t take action on a request from the City of Adel to pay $450 for a $1,400 metro map licensing project.

Finally, the Board discussed possibly creating an ordinance for pioneer cemeteries in the county.
