perry policeTwo Perry teens were arrested this week in after allegedly burglarizing a local business.

Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn tells Raccoon Valley Radio the front window of the Blue Jay Market was broken late January 28th.  Video surveillance caught two suspects entering the store and taking liquor and e cigarette items.  Officers developed information to identify the possible suspects over the weekend and Monday they recovered stolen property that linked the teens to the crime, along with clothing that was worn during the incident.

Both juveniles face charges of third degree burglary and criminal mischief.  The 16 year-old is also charged with possession of marijuana, after officers found drugs during their search.  He was transported to the juvenile detention facility.  The 15 year-old was released to the custody of his parents.
