Nominations for the 50th annual Tower of Fame Award are now being accepted.

Nominees must have lived in or currently live in Greene County and have positive personal or professional accomplishments at the state, national or international level. Last year, the award was given to Dean McAtee of Jefferson.

The first recipients were Dr. George Gallup for his internationally known opinion polls and Major Loren Shriver, who was an astronaut.

Selection committee chair Carole Custer says past nominations are kept on file and reviewed by the committee. She encourages  updating those nominations with any additional awards or recognitions.

Nomination forms are available at the Greene County Chamber office in Jefferson or by clicking the link below. Deadline to submit nominations is by 5pm on Monday, February 27th at the Chamber office.
