One person was injured in a head on collision on Highway 141 Monday evening.

Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard tells Raccoon Valley Radio a female driver was heading westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway shortly before 7pm.  Her vehicle collided head on with another vehicle heading the right direction.  The wrong way driver was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, the driver of the other vehicle walked away unharmed.  The stretch of highway between Bouton and Woodward was closed while officers cleaned up and investigated the crash.

The cause of the crash and extent of injuries are not known at this time.
