Aldine Mobley of Guthrie Center turned 100 years old earlier this month. Mobley tells Raccoon Valley Radio she has done many different jobs throughout her life and ascribes her longevity to hard work, fresh fruit and an easygoing attitude.

“I never ate much processed stuff like they have today, there was always work to do and I always did it, and I never let anything bother me too much”

Mobley was born in Minnesota, but her first memory is of her family’s move to the Panora area in a covered wagon, when she was 4 years old. Mobley has 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. For more about Mobley listen to Monday’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County.
