Ever Greene Ridge in Jefferson is having an open house tomorrow.

Director Hollie Roberts says they’ll be giving tours of their newly renovated apartments.

“We have seven units that are available. They’ve all been completely redone with new floor covering, new carpet and paint. We’re very proud of the units that are available and we’re ready to show them off.’’

Along with tours of the units, piano music will be provided by one of the residents in the dining room. Roberts notes that they provide breakfast every morning, residents can use the communal spaces, exercise equipment and in the winter, a van is provided for transportation to get groceries once a week.

She points out that during the open house, attendees will also have the opportunities to speak with current residents.

“Once we cross the threshold of somebody’s unit, I just step back and don’t say anything because the resident just kind of takes it from there. They enjoy the social aspect of it, they gather together, they have breakfast together, they have coffee. It’s not really something that’s organized, just something that happens.”

The open house will be from 1 to 4pm. Ever Greene Ridge is owned by the Greene County Medical Center Foundation.
