It has been a dry week here in the Raccoon River Valley.

With no snow or rain, the area is now behind in terms of normal precipitation levels.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry has received 0.12 inch of precipitation so far this month which is three-tenths of an inch below normal.  Two inches of snow has fallen so far, compared to the normal amount of three inches by this time in February.

One-quarter of an inch of precipitation has fallen over Guthrie Center so far this month compared to the normal over one-half inch.  Unlike Perry, Guthrie Center has exceeded the normal snowfall amount so far this month with four inches already.

More rain is likely Monday.
