The Dallas County Sheriff’s office is looking to hire two additional deputies now that they will be taking over law enforcement services for the City of Dallas Center.

As we’ve reported, current Dallas Center Police Chief Michelle Leonard plans to retire from the force in April and the City held several public meetings and considered their options for law enforcement coverage moving forward.

The change in service won’t happen for a few months but the Sheriff’s office has already begun looking for new additions to their department.
