In an effort to give the public a chance to see for themselves what the County is facing in terms of space needs in the jail, Sheriff Chad Leonard is opening the doors of the cramped space.
The tours will take place Sunday evenings March 5th and 19th, April 2nd and 16th. Staff will meet attendees in the front lobby to talk about the proposed bond referendum on May 2nd.
The first meeting and tour takes place at 5pm, each one lasts around one half hour, starting approximately every 30 minutes until 7pm.
Sheriff Leonard encourages anyone who wants more information to call him at 993-4771.
