The Guthrie Center Public Library has a large supply of excess books at this time. A book sale will be held starting Sunday following the monthly movie at 4pm and will continue through the end of the month, or until all of the materials have been sold. Director Pat Sleister says the library usually holds its sale in June, but the surplus of books made it necessary to push it up this year.

“We have lots of puzzles, VHS tapes, paperbacks, and many large print books, which is unusual.”

All books will be sold for free will offerings with money to support the library.
