Pamela JohnsonA Fort Dodge woman was arrested following a two vehicle accident on Saturday in Greene County.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s office, 60 year-old Pamela Johnson was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for her first offense for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, after she allegedly caused the accident at 140th Street and N Avenue at 9:19pm.

According to the Iowa State Patrol report, Johnson was traveling north on 140th Street (Highway 4) and was coming off the highway curve and onto N Avenue and her 2005 Chevrolet Equinox veered across the centerline and hit a stopped 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by 28 year-old Ashley Lynn Holder of Otho.

Holder complained of possible head injuries and her passenger, 31 year-old Rambo Arin Holder also suffered possible injuries at the scene. Johnson was uninjured. Johnson’s Equinox sustained severe vehicle damage and Holder’s truck sustained disabling damage.

In addition to Johnson’s OWI charge, she was also cited by the Iowa State Patrol for operating a vehicle without proper registration and driving the wrong way on a two-lane highway.

The Greene County Sheriff’s office assisted in the investigation.

She was booked and released from the Greene County jail.
