A Celebration of Life service for Thomas Matzie, 63, of Des Moines, will be Saturday at 2 pm at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.  Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry at a later date.  A luncheon will be held following the services at the funeral home.  Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is assisting the family.  Memorials may be made to the Thomas Matzie Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at steenfunerals.com.
