Stuart City Council Approves Amendments and Floodplain Management

The Stuart City Council met in regular session Monday

The main topic of discussion was a proposal between the Emergency Medical Services, the Stuart Fire Department and the Stuart Police Department. After a long discussion, the Council decided to table the discussion for a later date.

The Council approved a proposed amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan, the Guthrie County Community Foundation Grant and Empowering Adair County Grant, the Scoop The Loop dates for 2017 and the proposed organizational structure from the Parks and Recreation Department.

Council also approved the flood plain management proposal. Appointments will be made for Planning And Zoning by the Utility Board.
