weatherA thick layer of snow now covers the Raccoon River Valley after a wet week.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry received 2.7 inches of snow this past week and Guthrie Center saw three inches.  Perry also received 0.41 inch of total precipitation since our last report, while Guthrie Center added 0.33 inch to their total.

Both areas remain behind the normal totals of between 0.65 and 0.77 inches of precipitation and 3.8-4.5 inches of snow.

There is no significant chance for rain or snow in the immediate forecast.
